Davis & Green strongly believes that our successes are not measured by how much we have, but by how much we give. We are committed to giving our blessings back to our community so that it may also grow and prosper in the Lord. Company-wide, our employees are actively involved in community efforts such as The Doorways, HandsOn Greater Richmond, the VCU Massey Cancer Center and the Special Olympics of Virginia. It is truly amazing to see our employees work together to make these projects and events beneficial to everyone in the community. We held our 1st Annual Tug of War and BBQ Dinner in 2015 to raise funds for The Doorways and made a $2,260.00 donation after the event! Our employees also raised $2,505.91 for the Special Olympics of Virginia in 2015 by participating in the 1st Richmond Polar Plunge. Our employees were blessed to be able to work the Bocce Ball event at the 2015 Summer Games and have an opportunity to interact with and cheer for the athletes. In 2014, we raised over $1000.00 for Special Olympics and were able to designate an employee to rappel down the SunTrust Center building! Also in 2014, Davis & Green employees participated in several community outreach programs, such as the city-wide day of service with the HandsOn Richmond project. A team of employees helped clean and paint The Doorways building, which provides a place for families to live while their loved ones undergo treatment. Click to learn more about HandsOn Richmond . Davis & Green has been a sponsor of the VCU Massey Cancer Center since 2012. In 2014, we were excited to be the armband sponsor at the Opening Night Shopping Spree at The Bizarre Bazaar, which benefits the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
