Diablo Gymnastics School

At Diablo Gymnastics School, we recognize that every child develops physically, emotionally, and intellectually. We provide three gymnastics-based programs for children between the ages of two and eighteen: kindergym for early movement education, recreation classes for school-aged children, and competition teams for those children who choose to devote themselves completely to the pursuit of excellence in our sport. Diablo's programs use movement activities and gymnastics basics to stimulate each child's sense of accomplishment and self-mastery. Every child should learn that learning is fun! Teachers actively foster self-esteem by accepting and encouraging our students. Through physical challenges, we create a series of "success opportunities." By the end of each lesson our chilren will have experienced many opportunities to say "I can do it!" Our unique gymnastics education program encourages positive psychological development and provides cognitive stimulation that has been shown by the Department of Education to promote early intellectual growth. Children who participate in gymnastics and movement education classes develop sensorimotor skills that have been shown to improve both reading and math acquirement. We can't overstate the value of the simple joy of running, tumbling, swinging, balancing, jumping, flipping, and cartwheeling through childhood! The physical confidence gained through gymnastics carries beautifully into every athletic activity your child may choose to pursue in adulthood.
