She expanded her artistic credentials to include the Sir John Cass Fine Art Academy in London and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Dilek's talent led her to show several designs at major international auction houses Sotheby's and Christie's. She was born in Istanbul, and honed her skills in the Grand Bazaar, London, and New York before opening her studio in San Francisco.
