Direct Food Ingredients is located in Macclesfield England, we are an established leader in the import and distribution of food and nutritional ingredients. Founded in 1995 by Managing Director Mr Stephen Loake, Direct Food Ingredients has grown consistently, focusing on individual targeted area, collating and developing the expertise needed to support each market, before developing the next market, this is in keeping with our strategy. All the while ensuring that they are never spread too thinly, customer service is paramount. We are the market leader in supply of sweeteners with our knowledge and service being second to none; it is this focus and expertise which has been developed into other markets which we have consistantly expanded into. Our team based in Macclesfield has over 60 years combined experience in our industries, each member has experience and / or qualifications which are utilised daily to meet the customer needs. Experience in particular in nutritional medicine, contract manufacture of foods and beverages, along with focused New Product Development, which is a key in all markets to ensure our customer remains ahead of the market trends. We have extensive warehouse facilities, and our professional and committed warehouse team liaise constantly with our logistics team to ensure all deliveries are achieved in full on time, every time! Having over 30'000 square feet of warehouse facilities means that there is a substantial amount of stock holding, enabling us to react and meet the tight deadlines of the modern world. We are fully BRC approved, and consistently strive towards quality, consistency and professionalism in everything we do. We have partnerships with key raw material manufacturers, many of which have been working with Direct Food Ingredients for well over a decade, we audit these premises personally along with independent auditors such as SGS, based in Switzerland. The partnerships we have in place ensure that all materials meet the highest quality specifications each time every time, not forgetting the packaging, storage and transport systems in place. Each product provided comes with a full C of A, and as part of the BRC quality control procedures, full specification sheets are available, detailing information relating to the relevant pharmacopeia's, allergens, base raw materials, GMO status, Vegetarian and Vegan status, and Kosher certifications where applicable. We also have available the MSDS, COSHH data and some manufacturing processes as required, we will of course assist you in any documentation you require. With our extensive experience in global distribution, DFI welcomes enquiries from both the home/UK market and overseas. Our delivery service is second to none and next working day delivery for stock items is standard, timed deliveries are also available if required.
