Israel Discount Bank, the third-largest bank in Israel. The bank offers standard consumer services like deposits, loans, and credit cards, in addition to private banking, international trade, and commercial banking activities. Israel Discount Bank oversees five subsidiaries -- Discount Mortgage Bank, Mercantile Discount Bank, Israel Discount Bank of New York, Discount Bank Latin America, and IDB Bank Ltd. It also owns a 26% stake in First International Bank of Israel, the country's fifth-largest bank. In 2010, the company announced it was selling off Tachlit Investment House. The bank's largest shareholders are US-Canadian businessman Matthew Bronfman and New York real estate investor Rubin Schron.
