Dive Oceanus

In 2003, diveOceanus was founded in Holiday Island Resort & Spa under the name Villa Diving. Over the past decade, we've celebrated the opening of three more '5 Gold Star Palm' PADI dive centres across the Maldives and are now at the forefront of diving in the country. To reflect our continuing expansion, the company was renamed 'diveOceanus' in 2012. The name, derived from the Greek for 'ocean-world', stems from our continuing desire to provide guests with the opportunity to experience the aquatic realm that lies below the surface. This love of the ocean is what drives us as a company and as individuals. As such, our company philosophy is a simple one. We strive on a daily basis to guide our guests on a thrilling adventure through a world of breath-taking beauty. To achieve that, our highly qualified staff provides exceptional service whilst adhering to strict safety codes. We are committed to preserving the marine environment and educating our divers about the fragility of our ecosystems. In fact, we are so dedicated to education that diveOceanus has co-founded the country's largest marine studies campus on Sun Island Resort & Spa.
