Diversus

Diversus places a great emphasis on developing young graduate talent within WA. Through both the Alumni association and directly with the School of Information Systems, Diversus maintains a strong working affiliation with Curtin University. Since 2011, Diversus has been an active participant in the Alumni NextStep mentoring program (http://alumni.curtin.edu.au/nextstep/.) During the semester break, Diversus provides work experience for undergraduates working within project teams. This unique experience allows the student to experience how IT operates in a professional environment. As a member on the Career Nights panel, Diversus director, consultants and developers are able to explain our roles and allow the students to ask further questions. This forum assists in guiding final-year students to better understand their career paths and opportunities. With the School of Information Systems, Diversus has actively participated and assisted Curtin University's Graduate Program by either employing or helping to place graduates using our vast professional network. A recent partnership aligns Diversus with Just Start IT. This initiative is for WA high school students to assist them to realise their potential as entrepreneurs, marketers, sales people, business tycoons and software developers.
