De Nederlandsche Bank
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB, The Dutch Bank) is the central bank of the Netherlands. It is part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Its activities include implementing a single monetary policy of the member countries of the European Union, ensuring operation of the financial institutions, and supervising the activities of the financial institutions. The bank also collects and analyzes economic data on the countrys economy, as well as involves in ensuring the financial stability of foreign central banks. The Bank was founded in 1814 by King William I and is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
