The Dodo Bag

The Dodo Bag Company is a family-owned and operated fundraising company founded in Castle Rock, Colorado. In 2008, we started the Dodo Bag Co. and offered the first reusable shopping bags available in the fundraising industry. The Dodo was a large flightless bird discovered on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, where it lived undisturbed for so long that it lost its need and ability to fly. This resilient bird was driven into extinction due to the disruption of its environment. Sadly, many other animals are facing the same fate because of the pollution of our planet. Plastic bags are the #1 litter problem worldwide, and we wanted to become part of the solution. When we learned how plastic bags are impacting our environment, we found it important to come up with an alternative option. We partner with fundraising distributors to provide charity organizations, schools, sports teams to help raise revenue for their worthy causes and local communities.
