Dorsey & Company, Inc. is a Louisiana-owned securities firm which, since our founding in 1959, has been located in the City of New Orleans. The firm was founded by George P. Dorsey whose son, Philip J. Dorsey, serves as President today. While our roots are grounded in the underwriting, distribution, and secondary market trading of Louisiana and Mississippi tax-free municipal bonds, today the firm offers a wide array of services and products. The firm has had a notable history of accomplishments having participated in nearly all of the most memorable public finance projects of the State of Louisiana and the City of New Orleans.
