Dr. Bill was initially built for our co-founder Steve's wife (a physician in New Westminster, BC), after he watched her spend countless hours after dinner filling out paper notes & daysheets - all just so she could get paid. He thought 'there has to be an easier way-' and voila the idea of uncomplicated mobile billing was born. Steve co-founded the company with two top notch engineers (Milad and Hirad) who built a platform with smart automation so doctors could bill right on their phones, have transparent reporting and speed up the overall time it took to bill. It wasn't long before Steve was enjoying nights with his wife again, whose network of doctors also started to use Dr. Bill. Dr. Bill officially launched in 2014 and is now used by thousands of doctors across Canada. Since our early days we've been listening to our customers and solving their biggest problems. Our focus has always been on how we can make billing easier. As a young medical billing software company, we've been able to make unique changes to our system that meet the needs of our users. We encourage feedback so that our software is up to date and innovating. Through this, we've built what we think is the best software-based medical billing solution in Canada.
