We are a family business, passionate about the enhanced beauty imparted to clay roof tiles by genuine burnt colours, free from surface stains or pigments. The appearance of our clay roof tiles is a product of our kiln firing expertise, using sophisticated controls the different true clay colours and shades are achieved. Traditional Dreadnought clay plain roof tiles are suitable for pitched roofs or vertical tiling. The flexibility of their small format and the availability of a wide range of colours and fittings enables the Architect to design interesting and appropriate roofs, from the simple country cottage to the roofscape of a modern hypermarket. The range of colours available has encouraged the use of Dreadnought tiles on a nationwide basis for over one hundred years and encouraged acceptance by Planning Authorities.
