Dr. Power, formerly known as Richmond International Technology Corp. (RIT), was founded in 2006. Operating under the Dr. Battery® brand, the company has established itself as one of the world's leading researcher and distributor of high quality mobile power solutions including next generation lithium -ion technology batteries, battery packs and AC adapters for laptops, camcorders, digital cameras, iPods, Electric Bike and other portable electronic devices. The Dr. Power re-branding is a reflection of the company's strategic expansion to other environmental friendly energy product categories. The first of such efforts is the creation of the Dr. Bulbs brand. Launched in 2012, Dr. Bulbs specializes in the development and marketing of high quality LED lighting solutions. Under the Dr. Power umbrella, the company will continue to develop and market other green energy products to both commercial users and general consumers. Being a true Canadian brand, Dr. Power is headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia with offices in the U.S., UK, France, Australia and Hong Kong.
