Druk PNB Bank

Druk PNB Bank Ltd. (DPNBL), the first FDI bank in Bhutan is a joint venture bank of Punjab National Bank, India & local promoters. DPNBL started its operations in Bhutan on 27th January 2010 by opening first branch at Thimphu. Later on two more branches started functioning at Phuentsholing & Wangdue. During the first year of operations, DPNBL managed to mobilize a strong +20000 customer base in Bhutan with total business crossing over Nu.500 Crores. During the year, bank launched many techno savvy & customer friendly products, which includes ATM Card, Internet Banking Services, Mobile banking and SMS alert facility. Our ATM card holders have a facility to withdraw cash from any of the PNB ATMs in India. Master Card Acquiring Transactions facility has also been started and now visitors to Bhutan carrying ATM Debit/Credit card issued by any bank worldwide bearing Master/Maestro/Cirrus logo can withdraw cash from ATMs of Druk PNB in Bhutan. Master card issuer facility is also proposed to be launched soon.
