DTEK LLC was a boutique web development and design firm operating from 2001 to 2012. We built beautiful, sustainable, and empowering websites for progressive causes and big ideas, mostly around Seattle and New York. We provided web strategy, development, graphic design, and other consultation services, focusing on long-term relationships with our clients and planning for support from day one. I've maintained a few DTEK blog posts for posterity. Rhys Daunic and I cofounded DTEK and The Media Spot together, and I worked with many talented collaborators over the years, culminating in a 4-person firm for 2011-2012. In 2012 my youngest son was born and I decided it was time to try something new, working at the University of Washington for a short while before moving to Forum One.
