Wanyi Huang, Head of Legal and Compliance, joined Duxton in July 2009. Prior to joining Duxton, Wanyi was at WongPartnership LLP where her main areas of practice included mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, securities advisory, corporate governance and asset management. Transactions of significance which Wanyi has been involved in include representing the senior management of SGX-ST-mainboard listed Landwind Medical Holdings Limited in consortium arrangements with Citigroup Venture Capital International Growth Partnership and Citigroup Venture Capital International Co-Investment, L.P and acting as Singapore counsel for ADSM-listed Aabar Petroleum Investments Company PJSC in its successful voluntary conditional cash offer for SGX-mainboard listed Pearl Energy Limited. Wanyi was seconded to Deutsche Bank for 8 months from March 2008 as legal counsel to DeAM Asia, where she provided legal support to DeAM Asias Complex Asset Investments Team. Wanyi graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LL.B. and was admitted to the Singapore Bar. Sharon Seet joined Duxton in March 2017 as part of the Asian Equity team. Prior to joining Duxton, Sharon was with Deutsche Asset Management since 2014, where she was part of the Asian Institutional Equities Team as Deputy Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst. Prior to this, she was with Fundamental Capital Advisors with responsibility for managing the long book of an Asia Pacific hedge fund. She was previously an Equity Analyst with Novatera Capital from 2007 to 2011. Sharon began her finance career at UBS in London and subsequently at Deutsche Bank in Singapore as a corporate finance analyst. Sharon graduated with a Masters degree in Risk Management, and a Bachelors degree in Economics (First Class Honors) from the London School of Economics.
