E-Purse Systems Limited is an electronic payment solutions provider based in Lagos, Nigeria and an innovative provider of contactless smart card technology (smart cards and the associated readers) to the public and private sectors within the country. The company started operations in 2011 and has been innovators in the e-Payment Systems in Nigeria. E-Purse Systems Limited is pioneering electronic ticketing in Nigeria, for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) System. A means whereby passengers pay for transport fares electronically with the use of contactless smartcard application. The e-Purse Card is a contactless Smartcard similar to a credit card with an incorporated chip which communicates with the card reader. We have worked extensively in providing innovative solutions to identified problems in the transport industry, government, financial and educational sectors of the economy. Customer satisfaction and consistently high quality are essential to our philosophy and we approach all of our projects in the same proven manner. Accordingly, each project is implemented based on industry standard conventions as well as a commitment to meet the client's exact requirements uncompromised by any vested interests. We are currently in operation with the Lagos State on the BRT-2 project, managed by Primero Transport, a scheme regulated by LAMATA. We provide the smart ticketing services along the Ikorodu to TBS route. Our ticketing devices were installed on 434 buses and we have 14 vendors/dealers using our mobile Point of Sales terminals (mPOS).
