East Coast Organics

East Coast Organics operate a highly productive biodynamic farm in a tranquil setting just 10 miles south east of Edinburgh. The "Growing Team" produces a vast range of vegetables, salad, fruit and also eggs. We also supply organic bakery and dairy products. A home delivery service is available through our organic box scheme (ECO BOX), whereby your box is delivered direct to your home, office or drop-off point, usually weekly, or as otherwise agreed. Our box scheme offers a wide variety of the freshest produce, making organic food both more accessible and affordable. Our standard boxes avoid the enormous workload and higher costs engendered by specific orders, although we can accept a certain level of likes and/or dislikes. Due to the seasonal nature of the produce, the contents of the boxes will vary from week to week. Although small is beautiful, becoming the size we are now has made us more efficient, especially on the growing side. We grow as much as possible on site, with 10,000 square feet of polytunnels, allowing us to expand our quantity and range of produce. Working and trading with other organic farms helps those farms not to rely solely on supermarkets for their outlets. Supermarkets are far more expensive and constantly reject consignments, only for the produce to be returned to the farm and disposed of. When you join our scheme, you are not just buying a box of fruit and veg. You are employing us to supply you with healthy organic produce all year round. The system we have developed brings you the freshest, most affordable way of obtaining organic produce.
