Headquartered near St. Louis, Missouri, ESRT was founded in 1987 by Jim McEvilly and Bob Coffie to service the transportation of dry bulk commodities via barge freight throughout the inland water system. Drawing on unparalleled experience and business relationships, ESRT is able to operate as a boutique firm keeping costs low with emphasis on customer service and efficiency. The company transports dry bulk commodities including grains, coal, steel, ores, and other bulk products utilizing one of the youngest barge fleets in the industry consisting of 225 dry bulk barges with the majority under 5 years of age.
