Founded in 2011 by local foodie Stephen Steidle, Eating Asheville has a legacy of showing off Western North Carolina's vibrant culinary mecca with authenticity and passion. Stephen's vision celebrates the union of locally produced foods and the bevy of world-class chefs attracted to the area, a union that has given way to Asheville's nationally-acclaimed food and beverage scene! After attending food tours around the country, it was clear to Stephen that Asheville needed a food tour illuminating the foodie phenomenon of this city, shared from the perspective of passionate locals who've contributed to its success. Asheville is home to an astounding seven James Beard-nominated chefs and hundreds more inspired and talented chefs who use the local bounty to push the boundaries of the palate.
