Egyptian Banking Institute

In 2009 a specialized Small and Medium enterprises (SME) unit was established at the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI) in collaboration with the Business Development Services Support Project (BDSSP/CIDA) in accordance with the CBE Decree for improving access to finance. The SME Unit offers a wide range of capacity building services to SME units and staff in all banks and enhances awareness of entrepreneurs about access to finance.
