Since then, TimerTec has continuously expanded its position on the market. Today, many important companies working in the European timber industry and the timber trade are TimberTec customers. Currently there are 70 employees working at the site in Eutin and there are plans for further expansions. Training young talents is particularly important to TimberTec. TimberTec's philosophy is to represent the entire value creation of timber in an ERP system. The process mapping of the Timber Commerce programme, begins with gathering the timber in the forest, to sorting the trunks, selecting the sawing line with the right cutting pattern, right up to producing glued beams in connection with a storage controlling. An itinerary schedule ensures the optimal delivery via lorry. This allows mapping all processes in one ERP system without media disruption. By means of these functions, TimberTec has over time established itself as a market leader and has virtually defined the standard in this sector.
