Established in 1996 by The China International Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd., the China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) is an executive technical support entity for the information technology infrastructure construction for China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM). The China International Electronic Commerce Co., Ltd. (CIECC) is the direct affiliate of China International Electronic Commerce. CIECC provides a nation-wide technology infrastructure and service organization for the implementation of e-Government and e-Commerce systems for Chinese organizations. Offerings include utility, professional, credit and data security services. CIECC is responsible for developing and maintaining the China International Electronic Network (EC Net), one of the most sophisticated, reliable and secure third-party technology platforms in the world. After years of development, the EC Net has realized the first triangular mode backup architecture in China with points located in Yizhuang Beijing, Dongdan Bejing and Canton respectively, to provide disaster recovery service for various e-Government and e-Commerce application systems. CIECC has over 1,000,000 registered multinational members that include medium-and small-enterprises across China.
