Ecobnb still makes itself heard, and it's back again in German newsstands. This time to talk about the success of our platform is the newspaper SüddeutscheZeitung, one of the most important of Germany with 430,000 copies sold every day. Here is what is written about us in the article by Sebastian Niemetz dedicated to new platforms for trips: Through Ecobnb.com site, travelers can look for eco-friendly accommodations in Europe. The Italian web designer and ecologist Simone Riccardi noticed on a business trip a few years ago that there was not yet a network that offered an easy-to-access overview of green accommodation options. With Ecobnb, he developed in 2014 a website where commercial and private providers can rent out sustainable accommodations. The prerequisite for a host is that the accommodation offered meets at least five of ten so-called "eco standards". These standards have been set up by the company itself and can be, for example, the use of eco friendly cleaning products, electricity from renewable energies or a high level of waste recycling. The platform, headquartered in Italy, has a monthly audience of around 200,000. Most advertisements are from hotels and hostels - the number of private landlords is however growing, according to Riccardi. In the meantime most of the offers come from Germany. "We quickly noticed that the Germans are very interested in green issues."
