eConsult

eConsult was founded in 2011 by the Hurley Group, London's first 'at scale' provider of NHS GP services. The GPs knew that technology would help them to work smarter across the group's 15 practices. The concept worked so well that in 2013 Tower Hamlets CCG asked us to expand and commercialise the platform for use across 20 practices and 130,000 patients. Growing from there, we are now the leading provider of online GP consultations in the NHS. In 2017 eConsult moved into the urgent and emergency care space, launching our digital urgent care centre in Bexley. This is the first product to take patient histories and digitally triage them on arrival, allowing patients most in need to be seen quickly by the right healthcare professional.
