Eden Gardens

At Eden Gardens, we strive every day to create a home-like environment where pets, family members, volunteers and other members from the community promote life and interaction. Since 1979, Nanaimo Travellers Lodge Society, a non-profit, charitable organization (Charitable # 13052 0562 RR0001), has been a leader in Elder Care in the Mid-Island Area. Since 2004, we have been the only non-profit, dedicated dementia care facility in our region. We are a specialized home for 130 people living with dementia. Our three Adult Day Programs serve 160 people with dementia who live at home. Our staff treat people with dementia with respect, offer them choices and give them and their families hope as they struggle with the disease.
