Ed's Garage

Ed's Garage, Inc. was started in 1947 by Edward Waskiewicz and his wife Lillian when he returned home after World War II. They purchased a shut down gas station on Route 14 in Canterbury where they pumped gas and did automobile repairs. Ed started to deliver fuel oil to several customers, carrying buckets of oil himself. The fuel oil business began to grow steadily causing Ed to give up the repair business, except for working on his own vehicles. Today, we have 15 employees and provide heating oil and burner service to over 3,000 customers. We service both Windham and New London Counties. In addition to our fuel oil business, we also manufacture and deliver top quality sand and crushed stone products. To this day, we are proud to still be a family owned and operated business.
