Ekbatan Gas Control Co. - subordinate to Oil Industry Investment Company (O.I.I.C Public Joint Stock), which is now known as one of the main manufacturers of oil and gas equipment in Iran and middle east, has started its activity with production of domestic gas regulator since 1983. Relying on experiences, skilled experts and equipment, EGC could gain valuable achievements in naturalization and innovation to be able to afford internal demands of oil and gas industry. At present, different kinds of domestic gas regulator with the capacity of 5 to 160 m3/h and domestic gas meters both steel and aluminum types are produced in this company. Concerning the need of precise control and managing consumption of natural gas, EGC Company has started to design and produce Automated Meter Reading (AMR) gas meters and Ultrasonic Gas Meters (UGM), utilizing world new technologies. EGC Company besides producing different metering and safety equipment pays special attention to test and calibration of these products which results in producing a new generation of gas meters and regulator's calibration devices used in quality control laboratories and gas calibration centers. Another device is Portable Ultrasonic Test System for testing and detecting customer's gas meters in their living place. Regarding its capacity in producing die casting parts, machining and assembling lines, EGC has joined automotive parts manufacturers since 2004. It is now producing a wide range of different parts for large automotive companies.
