Eichberg Construction

We pride ourselves on our style of conducting our business, our ethics, and our consistent drive to please our customers. It's evident in all types of work we do, whether it be for a church who may never need to hire us again, or the largest developer of commercial business with whom we have future prospects. We have only been involved in one owner arbitration in more than 1,600 projects. In the construction industry, it's rare that relationships survive through consecutive projects. There are many pitfalls that can tangle even the friendliest of owner/builder/architect teams in bitter dispute. We head this off with open lines of communication, excellent site supervision, and clear and easy-to-use project documentation. We partner with our clients with a spirit of cooperation that places us in their shoes; we treat owners, architects, and our subcontractors the way we want to be treated. We study the drawings carefully and find coordination errors before they become field problems. Our detailed project schedules and look-ahead schedules are clear and easy to read, and we update them regularly. We provide clear and accurate pay applications and change orders, and detailed submittal listings so owners and architects know exactly what they're going to see and approve when they're going to get it. We're exceptionally well organized; we come to every meeting prepared, and we explain what we're doing so owners understand how it all fits together. If we need to work overtime to meet a deadline or provide information, we do it. We partner with the best subcontractors, and select from them the best suited for each project. We pay our subcontractors promptly, and in turn they work hard for us. We support our clients long after their projects are complete. We take our warranty obligations very seriously and we never run from a problem, no matter how large. Our reputation is too important. "Throughout the project, Eichberg has conducted itself professionally, responsibly, and has maintained a good working relationship with the owner, architect, lender and subcontractors. The task at 800 8th Street is not an easy one: a 9-story office building on a 4,000 s.f. lot, with no staging area. This is a major project with high public exposure, and Eichberg has handled the process quite well. ECI's commitment to meeting milestone objectives and timely delivery of the finished project is perhaps its single most significant attribute."
