The Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Hospital Albert Einstein is a Brazilian non-profit organization focused on health services, education and training, innovation and research, and social responsibility. It is headquartered in São Paulo and is made up of a team of more than 14,400 thousand employees. Founded in 1955 by the Israeli community in Brazil, it has been recognized as the best hospital in Latin America for eleven consecutive years by the América Economía Intelligence ranking and, in 2019, as the 38th best hospital worldwide by Statista Inc / Newsweek. The public hospital Hospital Municipal M´Boi Mirim, administered by Einstein, was classified as the No. 1 public hospital in Brazil and the 27th best hospital in Latin America (including private and public). Although Einstein's headquarters and most of its activity is concentrated in the city of São Paulo, Einstein is also present in other cities of the State of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiás, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Pará, Pernambuco and in the Federal District.
