The children sponsored through our programs are given training in various vocational subjects and are equipped with the basic knowledge and skill level so as to be able to earn their own bread and butter and in turn in the future do their part for the society. Ek Tara believes that education can help a child move beyond the stigma of poverty, and give the required tools to reach his or her true potential. Many of the children we assist are orphans or children living in critical situations, and through the help of our various programs it is our endeavor to improve their life and help them stand on their own feet . By enhancing the quality of life of children in need, as well as their respective families, we actively help them gain access to education and nurture in them effective communication skills along with imparting the basic knowledge of English language and Civil Etiquette. Many of the children under the Ek Tara umbrella have special latent talents that make them extraordinary and due to their unfortunate circumstances are unable to rise and shine. Ek Tara realizes the importance of harnessing and encouraging inborn talents in children and giving their passion a direction.
