Electronic Sheep
Both from Dublin, Ireland, Brenda is based in Dublin and Helen lives in London, where Electronic Sheep have a design studio in Dalston. The design duo grew up next door to each other, went to art school together and worked in the design Industry for several years before setting up their knitwear label, Electronic Sheep. Brenda graduated in Fashion Design and Helen in Visual Communication (Graphic Design) at the prestigious NCAD (National College of Art & Design, Dublin). Brenda also studied at De Montford University in The UK which is renowned for knitwear design and technology. She completed a post-graduate at LSAD (Limerick School of Art & Design) in knitwear and has won several design awards, one of which funded the start-up of the label. She has worked as a knitwear technology specialist In Ireland and as an independent accessories designer in Munich. Helen also studied at Central Saint Martin's in London and The School of Visual Arts in New York. Helen has worked as an art director in graphic design and for magazines in New York, Rome and London. She has designed/art directed for The Sunday Times Magazine, Swarovski, Glamour US and The V&A amongst others. Electronic Sheep are known for their tapestry-esque designs. Their detailed jacquards with contemporary illustrations and bold patterns have gained them stockists in Europe and Japan. The designers have shown at London Fashion Week for 6 years. Credits
