In 1985, as a response to market demand, Ellwood Quality Steels (EQS) commissioned its melt shop to be a premier producer of high quality, low cost, clean steel ingots. EQS's quality assurance system has been certified to ISO 9002, and is implemented by a highly trained workforce using state-of-the-art equipment and methodology.
