Emory Electric

Emory Electric was established in 1978 by Wilburn Emory, Jr. After many years of working with area Electrical Contractors, Wilburn decided to form his own company. Mr. Emory found his niche in residential and small commercial construction work. During the early years, Wilburn's son Tim kept the company books while attending college. Wilburn earned the reputation of being able to meet ambitious schedules while keeping the client's budget intact. Upon his graduation from college, Tim joined the firm full-time. With Tim's leadership, the firm decided to pursue larger projects focusing more on the commercial and industrial markets. The company experienced considerable growth during the late 80s and early 90s, growing into a regional force in the Southeast market. Emory Electric is now licensed in seven states across the Southeast and considered by many of our customers to be the premier Electrical Contractor in the area. Although Mr. Emory retired in 2003, the Emory Team continues to draw upon the work ethic instilled by their founder. We truly are an organization "Committed to Excellence".
