En-Net is a designated Small Business located just minutes from Washington, DC and the heart of Federal Government procurement. This locality and years of experience have resulted in a core business focused on serving the public sector. En-Net was started as a family business in 1996 by Brian and Jana Sheffer and today maintains a similar ownership strategy by brothers, Brian Sheffer and Kyle Yost. From these humble beginnings En-Net has since grown to 27 employees many of whom are lifelong friends. This unique approach has netted a loyalty rarely seen in today's market and rooted in principles acquired during childhood in Littlestown, Pennsylvania. The En-Net work culture exemplifies professionalism, initiative, creativity, and fun all wrapped in a stable family environment. Our philosophy of enduring relationships not only includes our customers and partners but our employees as well. This culture is part of the foundation of our company and at the core of our established relationships. Originally, En-Net offered networking and energy consulting services to government contractors and major utility companies. By 1997 our offering expanded to include these services as well as information technology products to Federal Government agencies throughout the United States. In 1998 En-Net was awarded a GSA schedule that is still utilized today; since then we have formed many partnerships which allow us to team on additional contract vehicles. Today, we take pride in offering turnkey solutions to all public sector entities including Federal, State and Local governments, as well as Education. In 2009 En-Net began the latest chapter in our journey with the purchase of a 10,000 square foot building in downtown Frederick, Maryland. Originally designed in the 1940s as a torpedo factory, the building evolved into a renowned gymnasium, an antique market and several other businesses until we remodeled it by combining the best of old and new to create a unique and high energy work environment. The additional space has allowed us to expand our products and services offering while also hiring new personnel for the areas of Cabling, Infrastructure, State/Local Government and Education sales. As our organization has evolved our team's number one goal has remained the same: to offer personal and courteous service, high quality products, exceptional values, and uncompromising customer support.
