Energy Solutions Africa is an entrepreneurial energy service company focused on providing innovative solutions in the electricity, petroleum and renewable energy sectors. This is accomplished through the provision of management consulting and transaction advisory services, as well as energy-related strategic investments and operations. Energy Solutions Africa was founded by Moeketsi Thobela, an electrical engineering and MBA graduate whose experience spans the various sectors of the energy industry. The company has been operational since December 2003. As the name implies, the company's focus is on energy (supply, efficiency, diversification, etc), solutions (programmes or systems to enable regulatory policy development and implementation, organisational strategy realisation, community development, etc), within the context of the challenges facing Africa. Energy Solutions Africa leverages experience in engineering, energy economics, renewable energy finance, energy planning, strategic management, business process engineering, supply chain management and information systems to provide innovative solutions while taking into account developmental challenges that face Africa. We form strategic alliances and partnerships with local and international organisations in a quest to deliver dynamic and sustainable results.
