ENORM wants to make a difference that can contribute to food security in the future, without overconsumption of natural resources, which is leading to unnecessary environmental degradation. We want to be an international company which takes a global responsibility for supplying sustainable ingredients for populations, local areas, and the environment. The concept we are developing must be scalable and can be implemented all around the world, as long as there are usable feed substrates for the larvae. The goal is to develop the site at Hedelundvej to a production capacity of 100 metric ton of living larvae per day. With such a capacity, ENORM will be able to produce almost 11,000 metric ton insect flour yearly along with 2000 tons of fat. The factory will translate around 55,000 metric ton feedstocks. The establishment of the factory will require even more construction area. ENORM is trying to develop a new plan for the area with the municipality of Hedensted, which will allow new constructions both for agricultural and industrial use. The test facilities at Hedelundvej 15. Today, ENORMs primary activity is centred around the establishment and run of a proof concept production (POC). The POC stalls consists of 3200 m2 construction site. The POC stalls will provide us with knowledge about how to scale production optimally. Stability in production of fly eggs.
