The practice commenced in 1985, was registered in 1987 and is a 100% locally-owned environmental consultancy practice. It trades as Environment Consultants Fiji, commonly abbreviated to ECF. The practice is Fiji's most experienced specialist environmental planning service and it has established a good working relationship with Government and local architects and engineers through the provision of pragmatic environmental advice for a wide variety of projects and developments in Fiji's unique cultural and administrative environment. ECF is an environmental consulting practice which specialises in putting together teams of experts on a case by case basis. Other environmental practices working in Fiji are primarily either engineering or academic organisations and as such have alternative interests and objectives influencing their ability to address the environmental requirements of any particular client or assignment.
