E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors was established in 1712 in the reign of Queen Anne and is one of the oldest businesses in the country. We have years of experience managing funerals for families living in the local communities of Maidenhead, Windsor & Slough and their surrounding areas. We have had a branch at 40 Church Street in Slough since 1922 and acquired a branch in Windsor in 1923. Our third branch, in Maidenhead, opened in 1991. Our staff are very family orientated and offer top-quality care and support 24 hours a day. We strive to consistently maintain these values and provide each customer with the time and attention that they need. We know that dealing with bereavement is one of the most difficult chapters in someone's life and are here to help share the burden and help you lay to rest your relative or friend. Our experienced team will guide you through each step of the funeral planning process, and assist with arranging a personalised funeral service to commemorate the life of your loved one. We have a range of options for funerals, with a transparent pricing structure, to meet the requirements of every faith and family. Each of our branches has contemporary facilities and up to date equipment, plus private Chapels of Rest - to provide the best care for the departed. This provides people with an opportunity to plan in advance and secure today's funeral prices. We play an active role in our community and have strong links with our local churches - each year sponsoring Christmas trees and contributing funds to host free concerts and lunches to help families in need. In 2015 E Sargeant & Son Funeral Directors won 'Business Support of the Year' category in the Slough Community Voluntary Sectors Awards - after being nominated by five groups whom it helps. In 2016 the business won the title for a second time.
