Founded in 1974, Eskimo Point Lumber Supply is a Nunavut based retailer and distributor providing a wide range of goods and services to Northern communities where resources are often times limited. Originally started in Eskimo Point (currently known as Arviat), EPLS has grown substantially over the years in order to meet the changing needs of our customers. The first division that was established was our Lumber Yard, owned and operated by the St. John family. We have grown from 2 employees in Arviat, Nunavut, to over 100 employees within 3 different locations to serve you. We have grown our business one customer at a time, to meet the changing needs of our customers. Wherever there is a need, EPLS is committed to finding a solution and providing the highest level of professional customer service to our business partners and to our valued customers. Founded upon the values of honesty, hard work and service to the community, our family-owned business takes pride in the ability to offer all-inclusive services and employment opportunities to hardworking people and to our business partners in the North.
