In 1994 Espresso Americano opened its first specialized coffee store in the historic district of downtown Tegucigalpa, the Capital of Honduras. This event revolutionized the coffee industry in Honduras, selling quality coffee, freshly roasted and ground, in a unique and comfortable store, outside the traditional supermarket shelves. Today there are over 100 stores located in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, La Ceiba, Choluteca, Puerto Cortes, Comayagua, Roatán, El Progreso, Siguatepeque, Juticalpa, Progreso, Roatan, Copan Ruinas, Tela, Choloma, Santa Rosa de Copan, Danlí and El Paraiso. Our family group began in the coffee business with a small roaster, always delivering coffee as fresh as possible. Starting 2007, Espresso Americano has more than 750 employees working in the areas of administration, warehouse and distribution. Espresso Americano was established by the passion its founders have for the coffee and desire to share that Passion with the greatest number of consumers and coffee enthusiasts. Espresso Americano is committed to serving only the best coffee, fulfilling its strict quality standards, controlling the coffee harvest and green bean preparation, the roasting, packaging and distribution of the coffee. Our served drinks are of the highest quality and we have an extensive hot drink menu like espresso, cappuccino and mochaccino®, as well as the cold drinks, specially our patented Coffee Granita®. With the diversity of our menu items there is a product for every taste. We present all our drinks to the customers with a an excellent service and a smile, in an atmosphere where every detail counts, making Espresso Americano a "unique coffee experience", so that the visit to any of our locations will be the most memorable part of any day. Espresso Americano is committed to serve only the best coffee, and to fulfill these standards of quality, we are an integrated vertically enterprise, controlling the raw material, the toasting and distribution of the coffee. The coffee in the best property of Honduras is harvested, and it is toasted like the true Italian type espresso, a dark toasting which characterizes all the romanticism of Italy.
