Esquire is one of the largest legal search firms in California and has been consistently ranked in the top echelon of attorney placement for the last several years. In fact, Esquire is the only attorney placement organization ranked in the top 15 of all executive search firms (including non-legal) in Los Angeles (Los Angeles Business Magazine). Formed in 1987, Esquire specializes in the representation of partners, practice groups and law firms in acquisitions and mergers. In addition, our growing associate division has successfully placed associates with many of the leading law firms and corporations. In the last decade, we have successfully represented more than 200 partners and 500 associates to law firms and major companies. It is tempting to make self-serving statements about how ethical, hard working, conscientious and outstanding we are. Most of our competitors incorporate the word "ethical" as often as law firms use the word "collegial". In the final analysis, a search firm is only as effective as the sum total of its relationships, contacts, industry knowledge, track record and ability to make things happen quickly, confidentially and behind the scenes.
