Estrada Design
Estrada Design is a studio created by Manuel Estrada. Founded in 1989, it has offices in Madrid and Miami and employs a team of 10 professionals. It specialises in corporate identity and in all the aspects that might be required by its full development, with the steadfast conviction that design is a decisive economic factor in any business structure. Through thorough research into companies' needs, challenges, opportunities and strengths, Estrada Design sets guidelines so that each of the identity elements can be easily recognised and establishes an unequivocal discourse on the path being travelled by the company and the possibilities that may open up before it in the future. From the logo or the naming to the webpage or the annual reports-including commemorative logos, packaging, architectural graphics, space signage and corporate publications-, Estrada Design's work encompasses all the fields of activity required to develop an identity: research, design, programming or layout, production, coordination and execution. In its 20-year track record, Estrada Design-the second Design Studio in Spain to receive AENOR Certification for quality systems (ISO 9001 Standard) and for the Environment (ISO 14000 Standard)-has worked for companies at the forefront of their industries: energy companies, such as Repsol, Gas Natural, Cores and Abengoa Bioenergy; finance agencies, such as AFI, Ahorro Corporación and Caja Viva; consumer goods firms, such as Persán, Carmencita and Casa de Alba, and real estate developers, such as GMP and Metrovacesa. It has also completed work for government agencies: for the Spanish Parliament (with the logo commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Constitution), the City Council and Autonomous Community of Madrid, ICEX, IFEMA, the Ministry of Culture, EOI Business School, the Autonomous Governments of Andalusia and of Castilla y León, the National Heritage and Renfe; for universities (the Vice-Chancellors' Conference, Menéndez Pelayo University, Oviedo University, the Europea University and the Laureate Universities) and for Foundations (Caja Madrid, Sánchez Ruipérez, Repsol, Saramago, GMP, Repsol, Santillana, etc.). The Studio's work for publishing houses is one of its hallmarks, especially its covers for Alianza Editorial, Alfaguara, Anaya, Edelvives, Santillana and El País Aguilar. It has also been involved in countless museum projects with the Costume, El Greco, the Military and the Human Evolution Museums.
