Ether Document Solutions is a trading division of Ether Solutions Ltd. Ether Solutions Ltd was founded in 1999 by David Martin to focus on Web Content Management (WCM) Technology and Consulting. David's background in Database Management and Web Technologies ensured his reputation in this field and the consultancy team quickly grew. Working with many large corporate organisations across the UK, the company has worked with many WCM systems over the years and has helped our clients realise the financial, logistical and branding benefits of this technology. In 2006 two separate events helped Ether Solutions further diversify the business: Ether Solutions expanded its expertise into the Document Management and Capture market and partnered with the Global Leader in this field; Kofax. Expanding the team to include staff experienced in this field, a large customer base was established and the company quickly became a respected Kofax Partner. At this time Ether Solutions worked largely with the Stellent WCM products. Stellent was purchased in 2006 by Oracle and was quickly rebranded Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM). The specialist UCM Team within Oracle realised the potential benefits of an Ether Solutions partnership and the Oracle partnership was established. Over the ensuing years the Oracle partnership has expanded to other Oracle Web products, and the Consulting Arm has continued to grow. The Ether consulting business now provides technical, business minded consultants for long term corporate projects for Oracle, Microsoft SharePoint and Kofax products. The Document Solutions department has continued to grow and has been a great success. Recognising the differing needs of document solution customers from Oracle focus organisations, in 2013 a new Trading Division of the Company, Ether Document Solutions was established. The division focusses on the whole document lifecycle from capture, information extraction and workflow processing through to document storage.
