The East Tennessee Human Resource Agency

The East Tennessee Human Resource Agency conducts the Surplus/Commodity program which is an ongoing program that occurs every two months. We need volunteers to assist with packing boxes with canned food, and to help with the distribution by placing those boxes into a truck or truck bed so they can be available for low income families within our community to pickup. Other opportunities include helping with deliveries to families unable to pick up a box of food. The next event will be at the end of September into the first part of October. We ask that all volunteers be over 18.
