Just as basketball and classical music have a common purpose in entertainment, so do the theatres, convention centres, stadia, arenas and exhibition centres that provide the venues. The entertainment industry requires greater skills in management, marketing, staff training, research and innovation. EVANZ was formed to encourage the development of these skills through communication and exchange of information. EVANZ is a professional organisation providing leadership and builds excellence for entertainment venues. EVANZ facilitates the collective sharing of information, enhancement of skills and development of best practice in the entertainment venues. Venues from throughout New Zealand can join EVANZ on an annual basis. Suppliers of goods and services to venues can join as associate members on an annual basis.
