East Valley Children's Theatre

East Valley Children's Theatre also provides classes for ages 5-16 in all aspects of theater: singing, dancing, acting, improvisation, and much more! The first session of fall classes is currently underway, with the second session beginning October 19. There are also classes designed especially for homeschooled students that feature literature-based studies that align with state standards. EVCT's programs also include traveling troupes that perform in the community at bookstores, libraries, and retirement communities. Auditions for On the Spot Improv, Bravo Musical Theatre Troupe, and Express Acting Troupe occur in the fall and the spring. Other programs include experiences in technical theatre, Literature Alive literacy program for Title I schools, and Bringing Smiles to Children outreach performances for disadvantaged children.
