Roundshire Ltd, now trading as Event Services Ireland, was established in 1997, initially as a rigging company, expending to provide stage construction crew for the outdoor concert season each year. Michael O'Byrne and Michael Kerr combined a wealth of knowledge from their rigging and touring backgrounds. In 2003, Roundshire joined forces with ESI, a long-established crewing company on the Dublin scene, to provide a broader base of people and skills to service both production and stage construction. The re-vamped ESI has gone from strength to strength, building on past experience and bringing the event crewing industry in Ireland into the 21st century. Events in Ireland we have been involved in over the past 7 years include: Croke Park - Special Olympics Ceremonies, 2003, U2 2oo5 & 2008, Robbie Williams, Take That Oxegen Festival, Punchestown Slane Castle - Rolling Stones, Oasis Lansdowne Road - The Eagles, Destiny's Child RDS - Bruce Springsteen (Arena), Top Gear Live (Simmonscourt Pavilion), Lance Armstrong Foundation (Main Hall) Electric Picnic, Stradbally Marlay Park Concerts Leonard Cohen, Royal Hospital Kilmainham GAA All Star Awards, Citywest Conference Centre Dublin Theatre Festival For the past 7 years, we have been working in partnership with Stageco Belgium on major outdoor stage construction projects in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
