Evil Enterprises was founded in April 2013 to satisfy a growing need in the creative services industry for senior level support for marketing, advertising and digital agencies. Consolidation at the top of the market coupled with the recession hitting a booming industry means that agencies are finding it increasingly difficult to grow their businesses. Skills shortages, unrealistic expectations about job scopes and an unwillingness to spend precious time working 'on the business' rather than for clients all compound the issues agencies have with achieving their ambitions. Evil Enterprises offers services in three core areas: Business planning: business strategy, product development, business models and forecasting Business growth: marketing and sales strategy, plus out-sourced marketing and business development for agencies Business optimisation: On-site operational consultancy looking at processes and behaviour to increase profit margins To date, Evil Enterprises has operated using an associate model, with the owner of the business (Emma Harvey) generating work for freelancers and herself. Due to increased demand and workload, there is now a need to hire a permanent employee to help the business to grow further.
