Having started its operations with a liquid cargo terminal in 2003, EVYAPPORT has launches its container terminal in 2005 and has extended its service range in line with the needs of the region. In 2008 the main dock construction has been initiated whereas extension works to 350 meters have been completed in 2009 and further extension works to 455 have been completed in 2011. EVYAPPORT connected to the Istanbul-Ankara main railway road by a junction line and has become the first private port operator providing intermodal transportation to its customers. Today, with a berthing area of 1.171 meters, water depth of minimum 18.5 meters enabling the berth of super post panamax vessels, EVYAPPORT meets the demands of the ever developing industrial region with an annual handling capacity of 855.000 TEU containers, 1.120.000 tons of liquid cargo, 500.000 tons of general cargo, substantial equipment park and experienced manpower.
